On 26 July 2023 Wybren Nooigedagt received the Rae and Dan Landis Outstanding Dissertation Award from the International Association for Intercultural Research (IAIR) for his dissertation entitled ‘Whose land is it? Perceived ownership and territorial compensation in settler societies’. The award is intended to recognize and honor outstanding scholarly achievement by aspiring intercultural researchers. Wybren also delivered a lecture at the biannual IAIR conference in Philadelphia.
